Peanut's Laser Treatment Testimonial
Peanut had twisted his back while running into the house and was unable to bear weight on his hind legs. He tried to walk and drag himself forward to stand. Once he got up, his right hind leg kept crossing over his left. We brought him to see Dr. Epstein and she suggested laser treatment to resolve the swelling and relieve the pain Peanut was experiencing.
After the first treatment, I can honestly say he was much better-- at least by 65%. After the second treatment, he was standing better and able to go outside on a lead with little difficulty, and he also seemed to be more relaxed. After the third treatment, he was ready to run; but even with us trying to keep him settled down, he wanted to take off once he was in the yard.
After the fourth treatment, he continued to improve and was at least 90% better than when this all happened. Hopefully we can maintain this cycle with a maintenance program as well as direct supervision of his activity around the house-- and some weight control.
I feel our experience with the laser treatment was an excellent choice and does help with the healing process.
