Senior Pet Wellness Specials!
There's still time to bring your pets in for the Senior Pet Wellness Special which runs until April 30. This is a wonderful opportunity to affordably screen dogs and cats over 8 years of age for many of the common yet hidden geriatric problems.
Along with a comprehensive physical exam, your pet will receive a fecal parasite analysis, a laboratory work-up which includes a complete blood count, serum chemistry profile, thyroid test and urinalysis, and have the blood pressure measured. In addition, dogs will be tested for heartworm disease and have their anal sacs expressed; and cats will be screened for diabetes risk using a serum fructosamine test. Participating pets will also be treated to a nail trim. The cost of this package is $263* - a savings of over $160.
As in past years, pets who receive the Senior Pet Wellness exam are also entitled to save 10% off the cost of laboratory tests, X-rays, dental work, medications, and supplements if these are recommended as a direct result of the exam.
To schedule your appointment, please call us at: (302) 762-2694.M
*No refunds for unused services will be granted. Stool samples must be submitted by April 30, 2013, to receive this special pricing. Discounts do not apply to vaccines and heartworm preventative. Only one type of discount per transaction may be applied.

WAH works with Pet Dental Services (PDS) to clean the teeth on all good dogs and cats with mild dental tartar. If your pet is young and forming tartar, but not quite enough tartar to require a full anesthetic procedure, this may be a great opportunity for her! If we've seen your pet in the office or your pet's teeth have been cleaned in the past 6-10 months and the doctor noted that no advanced periodontal disease was present, your pet may qualify for a non-anesthetic dental cleaning. And if you are interested in this procedure for your pet but are not sure if he is a candidate for a non-anesthetic dental cleaning, please give us a call!
The cost of this procedure is $180. In some instances, pets may require a light sedative for a small additional cost.
