Peyton Szymborski, DVM

Dr. Peyton Szymborski is a compassionate veterinarian dedicated to providing the best care for all her patients. With a deep commitment to working closely with families, she listens to clients' concerns and customizes treatment plans to ensure the well-being of each pet.

Dr. Szymborski graduated from the prestigious Royal Veterinary College in London, England, in 2024 with her Bachelor of Veterinary Medicine. She also holds a Bachelor of Science in Pre-Veterinary Medicine and Animal Biosciences with a minor in Wildlife Ecology and Conservation from the University of Delaware, where she graduated in 2020.

Throughout her career, Dr. Szymborski has interned and externed at a variety of veterinary hospitals, including emergency care settings. She also has experience in zoo medicine, having interned and completed rotations at zoos in both the US and the UK.

A proud member of the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons in the UK, Dr. Szymborski brings both expertise and a warm, personal touch to Wilmington Animal Hospital. She enjoys working with her colleagues—veterinary doctors, technicians, assistants, and client care specialists—who share her passion for providing exceptional care and collaborating to support patients and clients.

Outside of the clinic, Dr. Szymborski enjoys spending time with her 12-year-old Bichon Frise, Teddy, who’s always by her side. A huge Philadelphia sports fan, she cheers on the Sixers, Eagles, Phillies, and Flyers. Dr. Szymborski loves traveling, discovering new parts of the world, and finding joy in other cultures. She also enjoys playing tennis and golf, attending concerts, and relaxing with music.
